From Bedrest To Cleaning The House

You would not believe how excited I am.  Over the past six months there were a couple of weeks when I could hardly get out of bed due to the way I was feeling.  Just walking from the bed to the bathroom would bring on heart palpitations which would last for hours.  I would become out of breath practically unable to move.

Now I feel great!  Not quite 100%, but I can at least live life more normally.

He comes.

He stalks.

He chooses his prey.

Grudge

The divinity has been snatched from me,

And now I’m lying on the stone cold floor.

Your words of indignity have all but neglected me;

And you are scatterbrained, playing these games.

Is there any reality in your beautiful lies?

Phantom

So much joy now,

It’s hard to imagine I was ever sad.

I’m The Hero

I’ve awoken from a terrible nightmare.

But it turns out that it is reality, and

I am the hero in the story of my life.

I must battle wrongdoers with wit,

Conquer my fears, and befriend my foes.

I’m the hero.

Flying

She looked and him and he at her.

Together they jumped into the wide abyss.

They held hands and looked deep into each others eyes.

Loving. Falling.  Flying.

I’m Moving Again

Okay, I’ve had my time to let reality soak in.  Now I’m ready to share.

This past May I got my first apartment.  It was beautiful and unique.  I was ready to settle into my first home!  I still had some anxiety, but I knew I could do it.

The girl who had agreed to be my roommate bailed on me after I signed the lease.  Not a big deal, so I started looking for another one.  I also looked for work since I knew my savings would only last me so long.  

Why You Haven’t Heard. .

So I’ve kept quiet for quite a while now.  Other than my poetry, no one has heard much from me.  I haven’t talked about my anxiety or what’s going on with me.

The truth is, I’ve been dealing with some things.  They’ve hit me like a cold wind in a frost-bitten face.  I wasn’t prepared to share what’s been happening with you guys.  

The Dawn

The dusk is naught;

I can’t stand still.

The brisk of morning

Brings such chill.
