The Wind

Carry me through the immense battles

Carried out by foes

Relentlessly dancing in the fire

Of their own iniquities.

Raise me to the highest place

-Higher than any mountaintop

So that I may gaze into hearts

Carved out of blissful innocent passion.

Promise Me Forevermore

Whisper sweet nothings into my ear

-Promise that you loved me.

Promise that you’ll love me forevermore.

My Precious Fire

I’ll start a fire.

It will burn within my bones.

I’ll fan the flames

Till the warmth reaches my soul.

Confidence

Walking through fire cause I’m fireproof

Reaching for stars cause I’ve got nothing else to do.

Falling in love cause I’ve got love to spare.

Loving myself cause my beauty is rare.

She’s Brave

She can’t stand in the rain;

A drop from a clouded eye.

But she won’t just stand and cry;

Because she can get through this night.

He comes.

He stalks.

He chooses his prey.

House of Alternate Realities

My days were nights, and I looked up to the floors.

I read silently in a corner that was lit by perplexity before

Getting up and stepping around the numerous chandeliers in the house.

Phantom

So much joy now,

It’s hard to imagine I was ever sad.

Ninja

I’m armed.  I’m strong.

Head down; firm feet.

Planted at the base of the hill,

My enemy surrounds me.
