I’m Moving Again

Okay, I’ve had my time to let reality soak in.  Now I’m ready to share.

This past May I got my first apartment.  It was beautiful and unique.  I was ready to settle into my first home!  I still had some anxiety, but I knew I could do it.

The girl who had agreed to be my roommate bailed on me after I signed the lease.  Not a big deal, so I started looking for another one.  I also looked for work since I knew my savings would only last me so long.

My Typical School Morning

A school day.  I awaken against my will to the kisses of our German Shepherd hours before I had to get up.

Ignoring her wouldn’t help – Lucy would cry and cry for me to get up and let her outside to lie in the first rays of sunshine.

A Tip For High School Grads

I cannot believe it is June already.  School is about to be out for most children, and so many friends have graduated this year.

Breaking Out of My Shell

I’m sick.  I’m tired.  I’m dying.

I’m sick of comparing myself to others.  I’m tired of thinking I’m not good enough.  I’m dying from the anxiety, guilt, and fear that creeps in to consume my life over and over again.
