About

Hello,

My name is Janna, and I am a young aspiring writer finishing my last year of college.  I hope to use this site as a way to keep everyone updated on what is going on in my life, as I am always on the lookout for new adventures and perspective.

I found my passion for writing as a high school student and English became my major during my first year of college. I knew experience was everything in the world of a writer, so I became a reporter my sophomore year of college. This opportunity, as well as others, has aided in shaping me into the perfect candidate for the position. In addition to having exceptional writing skills, I also have experience interacting with persons in a composed and professional manner as I have already had experience as a reporter – scheduling interviews and contacting interviewees. I also have experience speaking with people professionally on an international level as I have traveled to Uganda, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.

My goal is to secure myself as a professional blogger before taking my blogging abroad someday.  My dream is to travel to Uganda and India to assist in creating new orphanages for children which will act as boarding schools, teaching children vital English speaking and writing skills in preparation for the work force.  I hope to also connect with a US orphanage and create a program similar to a study abroad program in which children from the orphanages will have the opportunity to transfer for the purpose of study and exploration of culture.  I believe that blogging about these experiences will spread awareness of how much these children need support.

Although these aspirations may not take place anytime soon, I am exited to share my current life experiences as I establish myself as a blogger!

I am also currently overcoming anxiety.  It has been a long, stressful two years, but I am making progress every day!  I hope to use my experiences to encourage others and to help them learn more about the seriousness of anxiety.

Having been on my own for just a short while, I am already learning so much about myself, life, and God.  Stay tuned for updates and adventures.  Feel free to explore and learn more about me!
