Phantom

So much joy now,

It’s hard to imagine I was ever sad.

I don’t know how I managed to escape the darkness;

Perhaps there is a greater light that no one ever sees

-Something that draws out the good in us.

Or maybe, the goodness is inside us

Just waiting to be released.
